Jisoon Lim (임지순) is an incoming Postdoctoral Fellow in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Michigan (U-M). His research focuses on developing scalable mathematical frameworks for multi-stakeholder decision-making across multimodal, technology-integrated, and increasingly complex mobility systems. His work spans game-theoretic policy modeling, large-scale and AI-accelerated optimization, and intelligent infrastructure planning, with applications in curb space management, air mobility and transit design, and connected and automated vehicle technologies.
Jisoon holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering and an M.S.E. in Industrial and Operations Engineering from U-M, and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech. A 2026 IOE-ISyE-MS&E Rising Star, Jisoon has been recognized with the U-M Rackham Predoctoral Fellowship, USDOT FHWA Eisenhower Graduate Fellowship, U-M Towner Prize for Distinguished Academic Achievement, and INFORMS Undergraduate OR Prize. His research has been published in leading venues including Transportation Science and Transportation Research Part B.
